One of the most common injuries I see this time of year is pain in the upper back and low back from raking leaves.  Even using a leaf blower causes trauma to your back with the repetitive motions of walking, carrying, bending and reaching.  These are what I call micro-traumas.  Repetitive wear and tear injuries that need some chiropractic repair.  Cute rhyme.

Your body is just a big machine that needs maintenance just the same as your lawn mower and leaf blower.  Hopefully you are changing the oil, spark plugs and greasing those fittings on your equipment.  That is my job with your body.  A chiropractic adjustment realigns your spine and eliminates fixations that cause pain and nerve pinching.

Often small issues like an aching back or tight hamstrings after doing yard work can be alleviated with one or two adjustments.  If you let little issues like this build up often this is when it becomes more difficult to correct and a series of adjustments is needed to decrease your pain and start to correct the issue.

A little pre-emptive care can eliminate a bigger problem through the holidays.  See you soon!
